Human Resources Administrative Assistant
Perform clerical and administrative functions for the Human Resources Department in the Seattle office. Job includes clerical, maintenance, and logistical duties. Requirements for this job change frequently with changing priorities.

Responsibilities:

Assist with entering employee information into various systems, verifies and enter new hire licenses and credentials
Maintain and ensure accuracy of employee data in Dynamics and internal systems.
Benefits administration: process medical benefit enrollments/changes, communicate benefit information to employees and reconciliation of monthly statement.
Create annual testing letters and monitor results to ensure completion.
Maintain and track Random Testing program.
Ensure varying processes, such as Annual Testing & Performance Evaluations, are met to ensure compliance.
Create sea time letters for maritime employees.
Assist Human Resources Specialist and Managers with clerical tasks as requested: maintaining personnel files, reports, scanning personnel files and other items as requested.
Distribute information to vessels and employees including; Notices, Newsletters, Memos
and other information as directed.
Accurate and timely maintenance of files and records.
Contribution to daily administrative activities of organization.
Flexibility in handling changing assignments.
Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to deal with others using courtesy, tact, and good judgment.
Maintain the confidentiality of all sensitive communications.
Ability to understand and execute complex oral and written instructions.
Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Job Condition and Environment:

Normal office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
