Job description
Purpose
To train and learn about Engineering and Petroleum Engineering principles and how they relate to the company.
Experience
0-2 years related experience, Oilfield, Agricultural, or Mechanical experience a plus.
Education and Training
Bachelors and/or Masters Degree in Engineering from accredited college or university.
Skills
Willing to commit to travel as part of the Trainee Program and upon graduation.
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively
Sound analytical and planning skills
Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office software suite version 2003 or greater
Team work and organisational skills
Conflict resolution skills and be able to diplomatically handle confrontation
Must perform duties onsite, except those job duties which are customarily or by their nature performed offsite (such as meetings with customers, for marketing purposes, travelling to field offices, etc.)
Flexible attitude, ability to multi-task, establish priorities, and successfully operate under ambiguous guidelines
Willing to work either of the following rotations:
14/14 rotation: 2 weeks offshore, 1 week office, 1 week off
21/21 rotation: 3 weeks offshore, 2 weeks office, 1 week off
28/28 rotation: 4 weeks offshore, 2 weeks office, 2 weeks off

Rig Reports completed on a timely basis
Formal Training Sessions
Work offshore positions from Roustabout to Barge Supervisor.Trainee is expected to engage in/become familiar with some or all of the job functions within each assignment.
