All personnel fully comply with STCW ’95 requirements and always have the necessary experience relevant to the type of tonnage to which they are appointed. In order to provide properly qualified seafarers we ensure careful screening and selection procedures ahead of deployment. In addition, we provide continuous education and training ashore as well as onboard in agreement with Owners to achieve desired levels of competence.
We take the highest interest in seafarer satisfaction in order to maintain high retention rates and continuity of service for the customer fleet.
All crews in our management hold the necessary STCW certification.
The main objective of Sea Factor crewing company is to provide quality assured crew manning services and supply our clients with qualified, capable and experienced seafarers of all grades from officers/engineers to ratings. Our staff consists of well qualified and experienced team of crew managers which are able to carry out either an individual crew request or to man a vessel completely.
General requirements for seafarers:
- Qualified in accordance with the requirements of STCW 1978/1995
- proficient in English
- medically fit
- duly trained and experienced to operate assigned vessels
The documents required: - Reference (or any other documents from your previous employer, attesting to your recent experience)
- Seaman’s Book / Passport
- Civil Passport / International Passport
For Officers –
- National License and endorsement (it should be valid at least for next 12 months from date of application).
- STCW – 95 certificates (Medical aid, survival techniques, fire fighting, etc.)
- Medical Book with International certificate enclosed
- Vaccination certificates – yellow fever, cholera
- GMDSS (for deck officers)
- ARPA & Radar training certificate (for deck officers)
- Tankerman or LPG certificate / endorsement – for specific vessels
For Ratings –
- AB, Motorman or Electrician certificate.
