see Europe?
meet all sorts of different people?
earn a good salary?
work hard?
Then we are the right employers for you!
The Swiss shipping company Scylla AG offers a wide range of interesting jobs on its luxurious river cruise liners. Our staff on board are predominantly Dutch nationals, but we also very much welcome other European nationalities.
Our guests come mainly from the USA, Germany and Switzerland, therefore knowledge of German and/or English is required. For most of the jobs looking after the passengers, training or experience in the hotel business is a must, and we expect good manners and a well-groomed appearance.
The Scylla AG ships have room for 88 to 220 passengers, and the crews consist of between 23 and 45 people looking after the passengers and on ship duty. The ships travel on the most beautiful European rivers and canals from the end of March to the end of October; in the winter months, they are used as hotel ships during trade fairs as well as for Christmas cruises. Depending on their function, the crew members live in large single to three bed cabins, have a comfortable crew room and get all their food on board.
