Marine Pilot required to join a growing team.
A Marine Pilot is required to join a busy and growing pilotage team in Kent.
You will be passionate about pilotage and the maritime industry. As an experienced officer, you will have an extensive background within the shipping industry and ideally, prior experience working as a port marine pilot.
Using your experience of coastal vessels, tankers, containers, commercial vessels such as tugs, dredgers, or survey vessels, you will oversee the safe docking of all vessels, leasing with Captains and the vessels bridge team.
It is essential that you have your Class 1 Masters and up to date ENG 1/STCW etc.
Local training will be provided, but it is paramount that you have up to date knowledge of Port Marine Safety Code, the ability to manage risk and demonstrate manoeuvring characteristics of the wide range of visiting vessels.
