Our fleet profile includes over 30 modern offshore vessels capable of supporting all phases of the offshore oil and gas development cycle. We have custom built and modified a number of vessels for specialist marine services. Our personnel are experienced in the provision of marine support across the exploration, construction and production phases of the oil and gas development cycle.

Our onshore facilities in South East Asia provide clients with integrated marine logistics support and vessel maintenance facilities.

MMA owns and operates over 40 vessels throughout Australia and internationally.

MMA Offshore

MMA undertakes a range of offshore marine activities including:

  • FPSO offtake support;
  • Supply operations - drilling and production;
  • Construction support;
  • Survey support;
  • Dive and ROV support;
  • Subsea installation support;
  • Subsea inspection, maintenance and repair; and
  • Tug and barge operations.

Chief Engineers

Duties will include:

  • Complying with all HSEQ policies and procedures as well as ensuring work instructions are undertaken in a safe and competent manner
  • Ensuring the safe operation of the vessel's engine room, machinery spaces and equipment in accordance with Flag, Statutory and Company Conventions, Rules and Regulations
  • Implementing and promoting the Company's policies, procedures and management system on board the vessel
  • Performance management of Engineers as deemed necessary and in accordance with Company policies and procedures

Second Engineers

Duties will include:

  • Assisting the Chief Engineer in ensuring the safe operation of the vessel's engine room and machinery spaces in accordance with Flag, Statutory and Company Conventions, Rules and Regulations
  • Maintaining all vessel equipment and machinery in accordance with Flag, Statutory and Company Conventions, Rules and Regulations
  • Ensuring the implementation and promotion of the requirements of the MMA Management System in his/her area(s) of responsibility

Engineer Watchkeepers

Duties will include:

  • Assisting the Chief Engineer and Second Engineer in ensuring the safe operation of the vessel's engine room and machinery spaces in accordance with Flag, Statutory and Company Conventions, Rules and Regulations
  • Supporting the Chief Engineer and Second Engineer in ensuring all vessel equipment and machinery is maintained in accordance with Flag, Statutory and Company Conventions, Rules and Regulations
  • Assisting the Chief Engineer and Second Engineer in ensuring implementation and promotion of the requirements of the MMA Management System in his/her area(s) of responsibility

Electro Technical Officers

Duties will include:

  • The repair and maintenance of vessels’ electrical equipment including rotating electrical machinery, associated frequency converter drives, navigation, automation, alarm, control and power systems (including DP systems)
  • Performing the necessary work, control and inspections in order to renew the certificates of the above equipment
  • Assisting the Chief Engineer in ensuring implementation and promotion of the requirements of the MMA Management System in his/her area(s) of responsibility
  • Assisting in the requisition and purchase of electrical spares, services and consumables

Additional criteria:

  • Place importance on health, safety, security and the environment above all other requirements
  • Be willing to adapt to new systems
  • Hold a STCW VI/6 Security Awareness Endorsement
  • Hold a valid ILO and / or MLC Medical Certificate or equivalent
  • Hold a valid Passport with a minimum of 6 months currency
  • Be able to apply for Police Certificate
