We’re currently seeking for a Barge Master/ Offshore Installation Manager with the following criteria:
- No. of openings – 02
- Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in jack up barges
- Familiar with barges critical operation, barge documents, preparing and implementing risk assessment
- Ability to control all type of emergency duties as per the Situation without panic
- Undertake and organize client audits and inspections with minimum finding and prepare closeout with proper action
- Implement the Company's policies with respect to the logistical support to the vessel.
- Ensure that the barge and its equipment are maintained to the technical standards required by the Company.
- Ensure that necessary and adequate repairs to Hull and Machinery are carried out to ensure maintenance of watertight integrity and machinery reliability so that H & M claims and GA acts are avoided
- Act as approving for all request for Permit to work (PTW). Ensure that active PTW are understood and managed diligently.
- Ensure that pre-spud meetings are conducted and that well related hazards are recognized and managed by the key personnel.
- Experience in the offshore construction industry with experience in a similar role.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively to all Coastal ranks, Charterers and Clients
- shall ensure that all applicable requirements of the client, barge class, barge flag are fully implemented and complied with.
- Area Operation: Abu Dhabi
- All STCW certificates issued within last 5 years and must be valid with minimum 2 (Two) years
- Must posses 1st Class certificate of Master Marine (Unlimited Master) License and CDC - (flag state COC are not excepted – ex. Panama, Belize etc.)
- Contract: 45 days on - 45days off
- Joining: Tentatively end of March
- Salary, will be based on experience.
- Prefer experienced in Abu Dhabi oil fields (not mandatory)
