Engine Oiler (Sea based)

Responsibilities

Carry out repair and maintenance as instructed and supervised by the Engineers
The preparation of the engine and any machinery and electrical apparatus supporting the main and auxillary engine
In monitoring, take record on all engine and machinery parameter during his assigned task
Ensure that all machineries are properly lubricated
Assist Engineers in repair, maintenance of machineries, and bunkering
Observe engine room watch keeping duties
Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the engine room
Carry out other maintenance duties as assigned by his immediate superiors
Qualifications

A graduate of BS in Marine Engineering
At least one (1) year experience on board a cargo or passenger vessel with at least 900 GRT is an advantage
Can communicate well in English and Tagalog both orally and in written
Professional in appearance
With good interpersonal skills
With good technical skills
With good planning and organizing skills
Results oriented
Can easily adapt to change

Ship Security Awareness (SSA)
D-COC / COC
Deck / Engine Watch
Seaman's Book
Medical Exam Results from a MARINA accredited clinic
CS from previous employer
Valid NBI
Birth Certificate
Transcript of Records
