Purpose of the Job:
Provide HSES assistance and advice to the organization in day-to-day company activities including tenders, proposals, projects and operations. Facilitate development, maintenance, improvement and implementation of the HSES Management System. Facilitate the HSES Management System performance assurance processes.
Responsibilities:
Communicate Dockwise HSES policies at all levels in the organization
Participate in tender and project teams as HSES representative
Assess and review requests for pre-qualification and tender, deliver tender and project documentation with respect to HSES matters, prepare and maintain required HSES records/reports
Develop, prepare, facilitate, support project HSES risk assessments (e.g. HAZID, Safety cases, ENVID)
Monitor HSES performance of assigned projects and progress of HSES Improvements
Organize and/or carry out HSES inspections, HSES internal audits and sub-contractor audits
Investigate incidents. Analyze, assess corrective measures, monitor implementation of corrective measures
Organizes and/or carry out HSES training and familiarization of company personnel
Liaise with clients on HSES subjects
Maintain HSES Management System
Requirements:
Completed Bachelor degree or higher (Safety Engineering, NEBOSH, HVK, MAROF)
1 to 5 years project experience as HSES Engineer in the Oil & Gas, Offshore and/or Shipping business
Well understanding of HSES Management Systems and Company Management Philosophies
Knowledge of Security Management is a preference
Fluent in Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing
Willing to travel around the world if needed
