Deck Officer

For the position as Chief Officer you need to have experience from that position and communicate and co-operate well internally as well as externally. You also need good leadership qualities (leading business, leading people and leading change/development). Experience from Ro-Ro is considered an additional qualification.
Requirements for the position as Chief Officer:
Certificate: Class II (certificate in accordance with the Swedish Transport Agency´s regulations)
Ship Security Officer (SSO) Certificate
Advanced Fire Fighting Certificate
Dangerous Cargo Certificate
GOC Certificate
For the position as Second Officer you need to have experience from that position and possess good leadership qualities. Experience from Ro-Ro is considered an additional qualification.
Requirements for the position as Second Officer:
Certificate: Class V (certificate in accordance with the Swedish Transport Agency´s regulations)
Medical Care Certificate
Advanced Fire Fighting Certificate
GOC Certificate
Additional requirements for sign on are: Medical Certificate for Seagoing Personnel, Seaman´s Discharge Book, Basic Safety Certificate, current visa: US Crew Visa and Australian Maritime Crew Visa.
