Cook Steward

Our crews are invaluable assets to us and it is natural to provide the best onboard work environment possible for them. We have the philosophy that most things you do ashore you should be able to do onboard. Therefore, we were the world’s first international shipping company to install broadband onboard the vessels. All vessels also have workout gym and library. If you want to work for Wallenius, we can give you an enormously interesting, fun and stimulating work.

We are looking for you who have a few years experience from working as a Cook Steward onboard a vessel. As Cook Steward you hold an own responsibility for the cooking onboard and provisioning and is also supervisor for one or two messmen.

In order to work as Cook Steward on one of our vessels you need:
Medical certificate for seagoing personnel
Basic Safety Certificate
Seaman's discharge book
US Crew Visa

We have both swedish and english as working languages. Computer knowledge is necessary.
