Assistant Manager, Infrastructure
Job Description:
To manage and work with external vendors to consolidate and improve local IT Infrastructure and improve the IT infrastructure for regional offices;
To manage the IT Infrastructure security requirements according to industry best practices;
To work with the providers concerning capacity management and service levels;
Ensure a timely resolution of IT infrastructure related support cases in cooperation with the external parties;
Developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing key functional areas, particularly network, infrastructure, server infrastructure, data communications, and telecommunications systems;
Planning, testing and management of Disaster Recovery (DR) plans;
Schedule and direct activities to resolve hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion;
Lead in project management of internal infrastructure projects; and
Support the helpdesk requirements of the local and regional offices.
Requirements:
A minimum 7 years of experience in managing Infrastructure and Helpdesk;
Strong knowledge of infrastructure, server and desktop/laptop support;
Good understanding of ITIL processes and possible ITIL adaption approaches;
Managing providers concerning performance, SLAs and innovation;
Professional IT qualification preferred;
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent; and
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
