Job Description:
Position Summary Performs duties in the equipment division office such as, researching and evaluating options, purchasing equipment and material, and providing the field operations with information and technical advice


Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Inspect project sites to monitor equipment inventory and accurate rental durations
Purchase equipment and material for equipment division and operations
Prepare and monitor equipment specifications and information
Solicit equipment and material quotes
Conduct equipment research
Review quotes and conduct evaluations
Cross train to support equipment billing, invoicing, third party rentals and equipment insurance management
Monitor the telematics systems
Manage equipment list
Process leases and invoicing
Provide technical advice and information to the field operations and estimating teams
Assume additional responsibilities as directed by division and corporate management. Travel as required to attend, but not limited to, meetings, site visits, training, etc.

Skills and Abilities
Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
Ability to work well in a non-structured environment
Demonstrate the ability and behavior necessary to lead others in accomplishing individual and team goals
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel, database management
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Excellent interpersonal skills
Negotiating skills
Decision making skills
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Time management skills

Education/Experience
3-5 years of procurement experience required
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred

Training required and will be provided
NCCO – written test only
AEMP – CEM course
OSHA – 30 hour course
First Aid Training – CPR course
CEMP course
