Fitter-Mechanic works in engine room, carrying out repairing metal work, (turning in some cases) welding works on a deck as well; Repairing pipelines, pumps, compressors, coppers, valves, case, restoration of shaft, plating nests of bearings; grinding in and polishing of valves, atomizers, the main and auxiliary diesel engines, compressors etc.
