Expected Experience; 15 years industry experience, including time served as chief officer on oil tankers.
Under the direction of the Mooring Master the Mooring Master Trainee has the following
Job Responsibilities.
• Interface between crude lifting, schedulers, and operations for export planning.
• Pre arrival tanker communications and document preparation.
• Assist with berthing and un-berthing of export tankers.
• Direct ship’s crew during tug and hose connection / disconnection.
• Maintaining a safe watch during cargo export operations.
• Planning and executing maintenance of CALM buoys, hoses, hawsers, and associated fittings.
• Interface with procurement to maintain, CALM buoy, hawser, and hose equipment inventory.
• Supports ExxonMobil policies, standards, and operating procedures (OIMS).
General Technical Skills
A good level of computer ability and skills are required for this position
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Applications or similar.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Analytical thinker, enthusiastic and self-motivated.
Sound understanding of business practices and controls.
Must be able to demonstrate a strong safety & security awareness and culture.
Specific Professional Skills

High standard of knowledge with respect to tanker systems.
