As 2nd Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the captain in the day-to-day operation of the vessel, as well as contributing to safety on board. You will be part of a dedicated crew and play an important role in maintaining our high standards in maritime operations.

Areas of responsibility:

- Support the captain in navigation and vessel operation.

- Carry out safety inspections and contribute to the implementation of safety procedures.

- Participate in the planning of routes and monitor weather conditions.

- Handle communication equipment and report embarkation/disembarkation of personnel.

- Contribute to the training and guidance of junior officers and deckhands.

- Document operational activities in a log book.

Qualifications:

- D3 certificate (Officers Certificate of Competency).

- DP certificate (Dynamic Positioning).

- Relevant experience from the offshore or maritime sector.

- Good communication skills in Norwegian and English.

- Ability to work independently as well as in a team, with a focus on safety.
