Job Overview: A global leading provider of information, technologies and solutions across multiple markets seeks a Group Sales Support Manager to support the Company's sales activities across a number of vertical markets within Europe, Africa and the Middle East (EAME). This is a new role within the organisation and in conjunction with the Sales Operations VP you will develop and implement the departmental plans while leading a team of 7-8 direct reports and an extended team of an additional 8-9 indirect reports, across various locations. Applicants are invited with a strong customer and sales focus, ability to lead and manage a team and a good understanding of front-to-back office sales administration processes.

This role will support sales activities across all of their markets within the EAME region.
This is an extremely important role within the organisation and there are plans to rapidly expand the Sales Support Team across the region. Your abilities to lead and implement change will paramount to this growth. There are many dynamics at work where you will need to have a demonstrable track record of working in a large, fast moving and complex environment.
Responsibilities: Reporting to the VP of Sales Operation, you will undertake:
Build strong working relationship with your Support Team - lead and manage them. Be responsible for mentoring and ensuring they have the skills and capabilities to undertake their role effectively.
Produce key reports such as usage reports and white space/gap analysis.
Provide Sales Force Automation training, support and reporting where necessary.
Support in the creation of pricing quotes (both custom and standard), proposals and tenders.
Support in the creation of agreements and other contractual documentation.
Co-ordination and support in building the Valid Order Package and ensuring it's compliancy to internal and external requirements.
Support in entering relevant information in CRM for Order Management to validate and process (e.g. SAP and MS Dynamics)
General administrative support to sales.
Process signed contracts in the many different systems.
Coordination and management of the account allocations for EMEA with Sales and finance.
Investigation and coordination of account queries from the sales team.
Generation and coordination of internal surveys to the sales team.
Supporting the sales team in the generation of account plans.
The role offers immense scope for an individual with a strong background in sales administration/support and looking for an expanding managerial role. Preferences: The successful candidate will have:
Degree preferred. A business or customer related qualification advantageous.
Minimum of 5 years work experience essential.
Previous experience in supporting a sales function essential - this could be in administration, legal, research, customer focused, operations, back-office processes and systems etc.
Strong management and leadership skills essential - the ability to hire, develop and lead a successful Sales Support Team is key.
Must be a self starter with drive, motivation & initiative.
Excellent spoken and written communication skills essential.
Excellent presentation skills in a physical & virtual environment essential
Good organisational and planning skills essential
The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines essential
MS Dynamics & SAP experience would be advantageous.
Enthusiasm and drive to keep abreast of the various markets.
