
The purpose of the role is to manage all aspects of credit control for Cruise and Maritime Voyages Ltd, ensuring that payments are received on time, accuracy of financial information and that all deadlines are met. A high level of Customer Service will need to be maintained at all times effectively dealing with challenging situations in a calm and professional manner.
Line Management
The Credit Control Assistant will report directly to the Assistant Group Accountant and subsequently to the Group Accountant who heads up the Department.
Duties & Responsibilities
To ensure that all retail agents and direct bookings are paid on time.
Effectively dealing with all payment queries from retail agents and direct passengers.
Responsible for sending ABTA letter’s Code of Practice to all Agents.
General ad hoc accounts work within the Department.
Excellent telephone manner, effectively communicating with retail agents and direct passengers in a confident and professional manner.
Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure is a key requirement of the role.
Ability to do overtime as and when required – standard hours are 0900/1730.
